Die Installation »Schwebstoffe« von Cordula Hesselbarth besteht aus scheinbar im Raum schwebenden, ephemeren Bild-Clustern, die sich erst durch die Bewegung der Betrachter/innen zusammensetzen, sie erschliessen sich mit der Zeit und im Umherwandern. Eine Video-Projektion aus bewegten abstrakten Linien-Formationen durchdringt die dreidimensionale Raumcollage und offenbart den Prozess des Zeichnens. So interagiert die vierte zeitliche Dimension mit den figurativen Formen, ihrer Materialität und ihren Schatten.
Die Betrachter/innen erleben die Installation wie einen Spaziergang durch einen künstlichen Wald, in dem man immer neue Wesen, Gewächse, Verschlingungen entdeckt, die sich ständig neu verbinden, enthüllen oder verschwinden. Es ist eine Koexistenz einer komplexen Artenvielfalt, die mit jedem Augenblick neue Kompositionen anbietet, neu entsteht, Ein- und Durchblicke gewährt, Perspektiven wandelt.
Die Künstlerin zeigt mit ihren visuellen Konstellationen einen kaleidoskopischen Blick auf die Welt. Sie stellt Gegensätze und visuelle Verwandtschaften nebeneinander. Sie verarbeitet in den Bildkonstellationen die Simultanität von Kontrasten, läßt die Koexistenz von Widersprüchen zu. Die Raumcollage reflektiert eine verschachtelte Welt, deren Komplexität nicht aufzulösen ist.

La instalación »Schwebstoffe« | »sustancias flotantes« de Cordula Hesselbarth está formada de grupos de imágenes efímeras que parecen flotar en el espacio y sólo se unen a través del movimiento del espectador, revelándose con el tiempo y mientras las recorre. Una proyección de video se superpone al collage espacial revelando el proceso de dibujo en formaciones lineales abstractas en movimiento. Así, la cuarta dimensión temporal interactúa con las formas figurativas, sus materialidades y sus sombras.
Los espectadores experimentan la instalación como un paseo por un bosque artificial, en el que descubren constantemente nuevas criaturas, plantas y enredos que surgen o desaparecen. Es una coexistencia de una compleja diversidad de especies que ofrece nuevas composiciones de un momento a otro.
La artista muestra una visión caleidoscópica del mundo con sus grupos de imágenes. Yuxtapone contrastes y relaciones visuales. En las constelaciones de imágenes, procesa la simultaneidad de contrastes, permitiendo la coexistencia de contradicciones. Un mundo anidado cuya complejidad no puede resolverse.

The installation »Schwebstoffe« | »suspended matter« by Cordula Hesselbarth consists of ephemeral image clusters that seem to float in space and only come together through the movement of the viewer, revealing themselves over time and by wandering around. A video projection is superimposed on the spatial collage revealing the drawing process in moving abstract linear formations. Thus, the fourth temporal dimension interacts with the figurative forms, their materialities and their shadows.
Viewers experience the installation as a walk through an artificial forest, in which they constantly discover new creatures, plants and entanglements that that emerge or disappear. It is a coexistence of a complex diversity of species that offers new compositions with every moment, emerges anew, provides insights and vistas, changes perspectives.
With her visual constellations, the artist presents a kaleidoscopic view of the world. She juxtaposes contrasts and visual affinities. In the image constellations, she processes the simultaneity of contrasts and allows contradictions to coexist. The spatial collage reflects a nested world whose complexity cannot be resolved.
